Cool, Tiny Kitchen

I LOVE happy places, and this is one of them: a tiny kitchen that can even acomodate two people for lunch. Pick a bright color, like this turquoise, if you'd like to spruce up your room. Everything looks so neat and in order, thanks to the white shelves. I'm especially fond of the spice garden by the window.

Divine.

Designer Spotlight - Anastasia Faiella

Have you seen the work of designer  Anastasia Faiella? I must say, I'm totally blown away with it! Take a peek into these gorgeous rooms!

I loooove the use of bold and daring colors, in perfect combination.

Can you tell the back wall has stripes? (Hint, hint: they're horizontal ;)

The spaces look very fresh and young.

How do you like this wall?

Ok, so here goes my absolute favorite (apart from the gorgeous living room above).

I have a crush on this kitchen. ADORE it!

What do you think?

Rue Magazine Premiere Issue

Have you guys checked out the Premiere Issue of Rue Magazine? It's fabulous! I'm loving its modern, casual, and very accessible approach to design. Its founders, Crystal and Anne, are bloggers, as many of its contributors... I feel so happy for them! You can read it here.

There's a trend section, with plenty of ideas and interesting items.

The photography is amazing. Leaves me speechless.

And the interiors are...

...sooooo inspiring.

Congrats to team Rue!

Amazing transformation

Weekend is here again! I can't believe September is right around the corner. August was a rush for me. What are your plans this weekend? J and I have an exciting thing going on, BUT that's a story I'm hoping to share with you next week. In the meantime, let's start sharin' eye candy. Yum!

I just found Tim and his incredible condo make over. It took him two years, but it was all well worth it. Best of all is getting to see the before and afters... LOVE them.

Hotel Inspiration -Casa de Sierra Nevada

One of my biggest passions is finding charming little hotels. There are some pretty amazing ones, and I like to dream about them and use them as inspiration.

This time I'd like to share my latest discovery:
Casa de Sierra Nevada in San Miguel de Allende, in Guanajuato, Mexico.

I absolutely adore its elegant Mexican rooms.

And the wonderful bathrooms one can find,
just check out the copper bathtub in this one.

Some rooms have a truly blessed view of the city.

I could easily read a book here, or just do nothing!

However, I haven't made up my mind. I'm still not sure if I like the indoors or the outdoors better. Take a look at the patios and gardens.

And, just as if we could ask for more, the hotel is home to a mexican cuisine school.

Isn't it beautiful?

I would so love to be there some time soon...

Eye Candy - White Kitchens

I know using white in decorating is generally a luxury (especially for us moms), but who says we can't dream? Check out these gorgeous white kitchens I found in Elle Decor Magazine.

With styles so different, white is an excellent color for these kitchens. I'm especially in love with the tiny ones (guess they remind me to my own kitchen at home).

Which one is your favorite?
