A great way to start the day for me would be by having a nice breakfast in a gourgeous kitchen banquette. I'm so in love with these little nooks. I find them romantic and just amazing. They're an excellent way to save space if you have a tiny home, with sofas or built-ins. They all look incredible to me, do you agree?

Because the tiniest room in the house is sometimes the one in most desperate need, I hope you will enjoy these hand-picked photos. I love these powder rooms because they are indeed small, and thus similar to what you and I might have in our own homes, and yet, they are stylish and gorgeous. There are all styles to choose from: modern, traditional, contemporary.

My favorite ones are definitely the ones with wood planks. I love the texture wood adds to the room, and I think it looks so original and different.

I just recently got a question from a lovely reader who tells me she and her boyfriend want to install concrete flooring in their apartment. However, she shares some concerns:

A strong trend in interior design is in fact concrete flooring. Such an element is actually cold, and it can even seem very masculine and industrial-like, however, it all depends on the things in the room. As you can see from the images, you can generate lovely warm rooms with concrete flooring . Best of all, they can be modern and airy. All of the above rooms are absolutely gorgeous and I love them. And it looks great everywhere: living room, dining room, kitchen, bath and even bedrooms.  

If you are considering getting concrete flooring, try using warm elements to balance the room. Try using wood tables, fabrics and rugs. This way you can balance out concrete and have a room which expresses your taste.

I love how many options we have nowadays for living room tables. No more fixed sets, but instead, we have the possibility of arranging different kinds of tables in the same room, and achieving great results! Brands - Foscarini

One of the things I like the most in decorating is lighting. It's just mouthwatering to me. Along with mirrors, they are priceless accesories, for they can turn any room into something really special. Well, I'm so in love into Italian firm Foscarini, and its gorgeous designs. I only wish somebody would sell them in my hometown, Guadalajara, México. =(

They are truly something. My very favorites are the ones in the last picture, from the tropic collection.
